Selling a dream career to a scrolling stranger
Bold Instinct sells a path, not a product. The person they need to reach is scrolling past hundreds of ads while quietly wondering whether they could really become a commercial pilot. A generic ad does not stop that person.
The business needed an explainer built to stop that exact scroller: someone who looks like the destination, talking plainly about how the path works.
In character, in uniform
We scripted the explainer for the audience, and I presented it in a pilot's uniform, because the viewer should see where the path leads, not a marketer describing it. Three videos were produced in the engagement; this is the one the client put to work.
Roughly a thousand to one
Checked on 28 October 2026, the explainer holds 23,089 views. Every other upload on the channel averages about 22. Whatever budget or placement the client gave it, this is the video they chose to run, and it carries the channel by roughly a thousand to one.
An honest note: we do not know the traffic split between promotion and organic reach, and the client's lead numbers stay with the client. The public facts are the rank and the gap: their one working video is the one we made.
