Watch the work
A fintech brand that needed a face, every other day
Positiviti Lending had a story that takes trust to tell. Everyday US lenders fund small loans for borrowers in Kenya. That is a lot to explain in fifteen seconds, and on social, trust comes from a person, not a logo.
Their agency, DrawCrowds, set an aggressive plan. Fifteen videos a month across TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. Selfie style, about fifty words each, "fun, entertaining and educational." The launch week alone called for two posts a day.
DrawCrowds had the scripts and an editor. What they needed was someone who could make a finance pitch sound like a real conversation, at that volume, month after month, without the founder filming a thing.
A paid audition, then a steady rhythm of raw footage
I auditioned on 26 October 2022 and got the job on 1 November. The first batch was in DrawCrowds' hands on 9 November, and the first short was live on YouTube the next day.
From there it ran like a production line. DrawCrowds sent numbered scripts in batches of 7 to 15. I filmed them selfie style, mixing horizontal and vertical so their editor could cut for every platform, and delivered clean raw files. When a script needed a fix, the reshoot came back the next day.
The format moved with the brand. When crypto platforms collapsed in late 2022, the scripts followed the headlines. In May 2023 we shot an 11-video FAQ series on green screen. In August 2023 we took it on the road: the Las Vegas Sphere and a casino floor for a "don't gamble with your money" angle, then Mexico, then New York from the Top of the Rock and down at the Wall Street bull.
From audition to the road

"He was always prepared, took direction well, and was always willing to go the extra mile to get the perfect shot."
John Kelly. Founder, DrawCrowds (agency for Positiviti Lending)The channel's top four uploads, and footage that kept working
Positiviti's YouTube channel tells the story on its own. Of its 417 public uploads, the four most-watched are all ours, and so are 13 of the top 20. The Vegas casino short sits at number one with 3,209 views. Our typical short drew 4.6 times the median views of everything else the brand posted, including interview cuts with a Shark Tank investor and a TV feature segment.
John Kelly put the business side in his own words:
"Thanks to Eric's talent and dedication, our videos have been incredibly successful. We have seen a significant increase in website traffic, leads, and sales since we started using his videos."
And the footage kept earning its keep. After the original run, Positiviti re-cut our green screen FAQ series into 64 more uploads, through May 2024, eighteen months after the first shoot. The numbers here are public YouTube views only; the TikTok and Instagram results sit with the client and their agency. If your team already writes and edits, this is what one consistent presenter adds.
