What B2B Video
Actually Costs.

Published market ranges, the six things that move a quote, and two guides that go deeper. None of these are VideoRep prices. They are here so you can judge any quote you get, ours included.

What this hub covers

The ranges.
And what moves them.

Ask five studios what a B2B video costs and you get five answers, because they are pricing five different things. "It depends" is true, but the price only swings on a handful of things, and you control most of them.

This hub sits in the Learning Centre. It starts with published numbers, then the drivers, then the two cost guides: explainer video cost and video spokesperson cost. If you would rather see what the work looks like, start with our B2B video production services. For the people side of the budget, the video spokesperson pillar covers who to hire.

What the market charges

Three published numbers.
Three different products.

An animated explainer, a spokesperson read and a union day rate are not the same purchase. Compare like with like.

01Market range

$5,400

Median quote, 60-second animated explainer. Wyzowl asked 242 explainer studios to quote the same video. Half came in under $5,400. Quotes ran from $600 to $250,000.

02Market range

$50 to $500

A video, freelance spokesperson. Marketplace presenters, usually priced by word count and mostly shot on green screen. Top providers charge around $2,000 a video.

03Market range

$673 to $837

A day, union on-camera actor. The SAG-AFTRA minimum for corporate and educational video, 2025 to 2028. Performer only: agency fees, crew, editing and usage come on top.

What moves the price

Six things that move
a video quote.

When two quotes for "the same video" are far apart, one of these is usually the reason.

01Cost driver

Scope

One 60-second read is a different job from a campaign with three hooks, a custom location and cutdowns for every platform.

02Cost driver

Who you hire

AI tools, freelancers, specialist studios and full-service agencies sell four different products. The tier sets the range before anything else does.

03Cost driver

Turnaround

Need it in 48 hours? That costs more than two weeks.

04Cost driver

Where it is filmed

A presenter in their own studio is cheap to book. Your office, a rented studio or a location adds travel, a videographer and more crew.

05Cost driver

Who is buying

A small business buying one explainer and an enterprise buying a training library are priced as different jobs.

06Cost driver

Usage rights

How long, where and in what media the video runs. TV, film, radio and AI use are usually licensed separately, and they are the cost buyers forget.

Common questions

What buyers ask
about video cost.

How much does a B2B video cost?

It depends on what you are buying. Published benchmarks put a 60-second animated explainer at a $5,400 median quote (Wyzowl, 242 studios), freelance spokespeople at $50 to $500 a video, top providers around $2,000 a video, and union actors at $673 to $837 a day before agency fees.

Why do quotes for the same video vary so much?

Six things move a quote: scope, who you hire, turnaround, where it is filmed, who is buying, and usage rights. Most of them are in your control.

Does VideoRep publish its prices?

No. We quote on a call, because the same 90 seconds can be a one-day shoot from an approved script or weeks of positioning work. The figures on this page are market numbers, not ours.
